I knew the moment I saw him, he was more than I could
So flawless, my eyes followed I walked through the door
And my core started to spin once again I was enslaved
Trapped in the land of the free, scared by the home of the brave
Bright collar so white I could smell the right wing
Put down my hammer and my sickle and I started to sing
Not knowing that you controlled my own emancapation
When you bought bribed and stole every radio station
You were at the top, I set up shop in a corner of my basement
Fight to keep on writing and that's just how my days went
Mix and master, (unknown), try to do my own thing
Trying to envision a time before these executives and bling
Before consecutive years of the industry getting soft
Autotune is making songs out of these farts and coughs
Try to hide my sorry behind lies and start to scoff
I borrowed money from my mom to set this album out
All the same, it's a shame that it will never get played
But it's not for fame, it's all music that just had to be made
For the love love of the game, the pain and all the times I was afraid
For the nights that my life balanced on the edge of a blade
Every single tomorrow is another hour out on the limb
Rich white men might run the pool but I decide to sink or swim
My cup may not run over, but it's up close to the brim
One more musical messiah and the guy at the gym
A maxi-single that I think encapsulates the sound of GoFight! Make Some Noise and Light of Day are total stand-outs. The former brings low down dirtiness, while the later punches up to the heavens. Gentleman Loser
Unwoman + Caustic = A fantastic mutanat that kinda sounds like the way Curve would sound if they recorded in a sound booth full of bees and all the synths were shooting sparks. Gentleman Loser
